Baros Maldives – Luxury Baros Resort Holidays
Although always blessed with verdant foliage, Baros Maldives used to just have coconut palms and tropical trees before it was transformed into a resort. It is now a tropical Garden of Eden, but without the dangerous reptiles and animals. There are more than 100 resorts that are found within the Maldives, but Baros Maldives itself is unique due to the island’s intimate size as well as the fact that a Maldivian family and not a hotel chain owns the resort.
Baros Maldives
Baros Maldives has been offering hospitality for over 40 years. The Maldivian Lounge found at Baros Maldives displays hand crafted traditional Maldivian furniture and artifacts that are locally made, an ancient map collection of the islands, and photographs of how the Maldives looked before tourism started back in the 1970s.
Accommodations at Baros Maldives consist of differently styled villas. The Baros Premium Pool Villa is situated on a secluded piece of beach that is shielded by luxurious tropical foliage. The villa has its own infinity-edge plunge pool and outdoor Jacuzzi and offers expansive ocean views. The 160 sq metre villa also has an open air wooden deck. The Baros Pool Villa stands alone within a private tropical glade that boasts its own plunge pool, just steps from the lagoon lapping lazily on the shore. There is a discreet rain shower in the outdoor garden.
The Baros Pool Villa sits on a crescent shaped boardwalk that curves over the turquoise lagoon, with the beach a minute away. They boast a private sunbathing deck, king sized bed with a canopy and a luxuriant bathroom perched over the azure blue lagoon. The Water Villa is located on a wonderfully sun drenched beach discreetly secluded with tropical vegetation. The Deluxe Villa is set back within a glade of exquisite flowers next to the beach and offers an outdoor bathroom extending into a sandstone walled flower garden which includes a caressing waterfall shower.
